• Cold drafts in winter

Single-pane RV windows leak heat. Insulation helps keep warm air in and cold air out.

  • Overheating in summer

Large RV windows let in a lot of radiant heat. Reflective insulation blocks harsh sun before it turns your rig into an oven.

  • Condensation on the glass

Better insulation can reduce temperature differences and help control moisture around your window frames.

  • 6mm thick panels

Thicker, sturdier panels that sit neatly in the frame instead of feeling flimsy – about twice as thick as many 3mm rolls.

  • Rolled, not folded

Panels are shipped rolled, so you don’t have to fight deep fold lines on your windows

  • 3M tape in the box

Comes with 3M brand tape so the panels actually stay put on clean RV window frames.

  • Step 1:Measure

Measure the inside of your RV window frame, door or skylight.

  • Step 2:Cut

Cut the insulation to size with scissors or a utility knife.

  • Step 3:Attach

Use the included 3M tape to attach the panels around the frame.

Quick Questions

Does it work for both winter and summer?

Yes. In winter it cuts drafts and radiant cold from the glass. In summer it helps block radiant heat before it gets inside, so your AC isn’t fighting as hard.

Will it make my RV too dark?

It will darken the windows you cover. Most people use it on sleeping area windows, non-view windows, or only during very hot or very cold weather. You can always pull panels off when you want light.

Will the panels fall off?

The kit includes 3M tape, and the panels are light but firm at about 6mm thick. As long as the frame is clean and dry before you stick the tape, they stay put in normal use and can be removed when you want.

Can I reuse the panels if I change rigs?

Yes. If you don’t cut them extremely tight and you remove them carefully, you can reuse the panels in another RV. You may just need fresh tape.

How strong is the smell?

The material is low-odor. Like most new products, there may be a light factory smell when you first open the kit, but it fades quickly in a ventilated RV.

How many kits should I buy?

As a rough guide: 1 kit for smaller rigs and a few key windows, 1–2 kits for mid-size rigs, and 2–3 kits if you want to insulate most of the main living and sleeping area windows.
